Sloane Sound Advice (SSA) Institute is a car audio and window tinting training academy that prides on teaching , educating, and inspire student to learning to master the wonderful world of car audio and window tinting. This unique art form has been kept a secret for many years, and only the "best of the best" have been able to perfect their skills, mainly through trial and error...until now.
Our Master Installer/Instructor Sloane Pickney, who has been in this field for over 30 years, has perfected these techniques and will teach you these "tricks of the trade." He has tinted over 1000 of vehicles, boats, RV’s and has installed over 10,000 square feet of flat glass tinting with his well-known "near flawless" applications.
Learn to tint at the most Elite Shop in Coastal Georgia. Our main goal and focus is to become the only private training course in Coastal Georgia that truly believes in passing on our Tricks-of-the-Trade and well kept secrets tips to those who wish to have a career and financial freedom doing something that they enjoyed doing and good at throughout the years.
Day 1

• Tools: The Answers for the Perfect Tools w/ Description & Customization •Learn tools and their uses, terminology, tint etiquette and technique.
• Proper Chemicals & Mounting Solutions: The Automotive "Secret Sauce"
• Prepping Techniques: Cutting & Squeeging 101 and The Automotive "Process"
•Starting an Installation: Things to Look for Prior to Tinting (a.k.a. "The 6-Pack")
Day 2
• Review Secret Tips and The 6-Pack: Questions & Answer Time w/ "FUN" Prize Points
• Film History, Types, Properties and Warranty Deceptions
• First Hands-On Day: Hands-on practice; picking what size roll to use and when, properly prepping, using tools properly, template making and handling film.
• Installation Techniques: Roll-ups, Quarter Glass & "Sun Strips" (aka Visors/Brow)
• Door Panel Removal and Film Cutting Machines (a.k.a. Plotters)
Day 3
• Secret Tips/3 Rules Quiz: Questions & Answer Time w/ "FUN" Prize Points
• Tinting Laws Clarification: Who Is The I.W.F.A.?
• Fading Factors of Film: "Competition Crushing" Selling Techniques
• Back Glass Installs: "One Piece" techniques by yourself... yes, by yourself!
• Heat Shrinking: Hands-on practice with a focus on heat shrinking roll downs and back windows. Learn different heat shrinking methods and when to use them
• Shrinking methods: 4 Major Techniques with The Pro's & Con's of Each
Day 4

Training Hours
The 5-Day Beginning Auto Window Tinting Training Course "starts" on the 1st & 3rd Monday of every month with a maximum of only 4 students per week and is scheduled from 8 am to 5 pm every day. NOTE: all course Start Dates are subject to change unless otherwise noted.
Tuition
The 5-Day Auto Window Tinting Training Course is $1200. This included everything you need to become a professional auto window tinting. *All film and tools are provided for each class. Job placement upon completion.

Students have to be 17 or older to attend our courses.
Students who are still in high school may enroll if they are over 17. They need to provide us with a letter from the guidance counselor certifying their dual enrollment in high school.
Class sizes are limited to 4 students max.

You can register by email or online. Simply fill out the registration forms that are included in your packet of information and forward them to us as soon as possible. Attach a check, money order, or credit card information for $90.00

All installation and fabrication jobs are performed on actual vehicles. Students may use their cars for any installation or fabrication projects they wish at no additional costs. Students are even encouraged to work on jobs they may have and make extra cash. If the student does not have a car, then the academy will provide one to be used.
